Dartmoor Outdoor

Festiv
al

Moorland Guides began the walking festival in 2016.
In 2018 the Wheeled Access Group led 8 accessible walks during the festival.
Between 6 and 8 walks have been led in each following year (except 2020).
All walks are led by two qualified Moorland Guides, plus other able bodied helpers, all with considerable experience of walking on Dartmoor with people using mobility scooters.
It was known as the Dartmoor Walking Festival but now includes activities other than walks.

Dates and routes for 2026 now finalised
This year we have more easier (Level 1 and 2 walks) and more walks where you can join us for just the morning or afternoon. This will enable those of you new to the moor or unable to do a longer or more difficult walk to join us
